Symmetry between internal and external RED ROD reference elements ensures that the iso pH is the same as the zero pH, providing highly reproducible results and a fast, accurate response, even in samples with fluctuating temperatures. RED ROD technology also provides a stable signal by protecting the reference elements from light interference, and the saturated KCl salt-bridge aids in creating a stable liquid junction potential.

RED ROD technology is reliable, even in challenging samples - RED ROD encapsulation of reference elements means no silver ions and less risk of clogged junctions. The RED ROD reference system also enables accurate measurements over a broader temperature range than standard electrodes.
